Greetings!

Hello everyone and welcome to life inside my head! Since i've been accused of being ridiculously awful about keeping in contact with my friends, i've decided to start this little blogumentary if you will. I figured this would be a good way for you, the reader to stay in contact with me. This is also a grand idea because I can type all relevant, pertinent info about yours truly only once and like wow, e'rybody gets the same info...

Quick recap to catch you up - still in the Chair Force (11 years the 26th of this month!!!), still in VA (but trying to get back to Texas via ova'seas), still happily divorced, still childless (and i destroyed my biological clock with 2 sticks of dynomite --no need for that), still "single" (will 'splain that later), still loving music and life...

Speaking of music, i'm loving the following artists right now: Amy Winehouse (the best thing out of Europe since...) ~ Corinne Bailey Rae (digging the Macy Gray~esqueness of her delivery, besides she plays guitar!), Van Hunt (a Prince, Sly Stone hybrid), John Mayer (of course), Diana Krall and Chris Botti (been feeling jazzy lately), Maroon 5 (some funky white boys), Robin Thicke (was feeling him lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnggg time ago, but glad to see he's doing his thing now), Chrisette Michelle (a Billie Holiday thro'back kinda sanga), V (a Dwele, Musiq Soulchild hybrid). I've been despising the radio lately because if it ain't pop, lock and dropping, it ain't being played. Not knocking anyone's hustle but my tastes are varied, ya' dig.

I usually get my laugh on by visiting one of the gossip sites on the blogtionary roll located to the right of your screen here. Bossip and Mediatakeout have the best black celebrity gossip. Half of it's made up and ridiculous although some things have actually been true. In any case, it'll put a smile on your face while you're on the grind. Make sure your boss isn't in earshot because some of the ish is funny!
