It's Been A Minute...

Yeah, I know I said I wasn't gonna go so long without posting but I've been crazy busy at work. This year has started out at a frenzied pace. So what's been up since we last connected:

1. Heath Ledger passed away. There is still speculation on the cause of death but the word is it was a mixture of prescription drugs for anxiety and sleep deprivation. Heath Ledger was a great actor and his talent will be missed. We will be able to see him posthumously in the summer sure-to-be-blockbuster, Batman: The Dark Knight.

2. Barack Obama won the South Carolina primary. This is great news if you're Barack Obama. This is terrible news if you're John Edwards. See, SC is Edwards' home state and he didn't even win. The Kennedy's are lending their popular support to Senator Obama. This could be interesting down to the final count. History continues to be made.

3. Amy Winehouse disrespected her own advice and finally went to rehab. She was seen in a video smoking what looked like a rock pipe. I'm glad that she is finally getting help. She's too talented to throw it all away.

4. The New England Patriots and the New Yawk Giants are in the Superbowl. Not so super because my pathetic team isn't there but I'm rooting for the G-Men. It has to stop here for the Tom Brady love fest.

5. Yours truly got recognized for outstanding effort during a work exercise.
The higher ups are noticing how nice my skills are. Too bad that doesn't equate to extra cash.

Additionally, I'm taking a class this semester. It's Basic Algebra because I had so much fun doing it in high school that I decided to relive the experience. Sarcasm aside, I need to take it to refresh my lackluster skills so I can challenge the arithmetic that really counts towards college credits. Wish me luck.

That is all...

and...

I leave you with this! Enjoy!
