1-13, The Big "O" and a Big Willy

First, let me just put myself on blast and say that my posts have been a bit sparse lately. Blame it on Uncle Sam's ridiculous demands, they've been working your girl but i'll be posting on a more regular basis from here on out. Now lets get on with it...

Miami - Won, the other team - Loss!

Yep, that's right...you read it correctly - the Miami Dolphins finally won a game today. They beat the Baltimore Ravens 22-16 in overtime. I don't care how ugly, close or insignificant many of you may think it is, this is huge for us Dol-fans. The team was on the verge of besting a record that no team wants to be on top of. That record being worst team in the history of the NFL. The 76' Bucs can rest easy because they still maintain the golden goose egg. The Dolphins have a lot of issues on both sides of the ball but today, they can enjoy this most important and at times, elusive feat - a victory!

1-13 never felt so good!

OPRAMA 08'

You know when Oprah puts her stamp on anything, sales shoot through the roof. That's the hope of the handlers for the Obama 08' campaign. Talk's leading lady and a multimedia conglomorate in her own right has come out publicly (including some stumping) to let the masses know that she is a ride or die chick for the Senator. This could be a good move for Barry. It could only be a good thing to get the support of white middle America, in particular, suburban housewives. (photo courtesy of gothamist.com)

Will Smith is the Man!

This weekend was Big Willy Weekend, again. Will Smith's new action-sci-fi flick "I Am Legend" opened with a sexy $76.5 million faces. This is also the biggest December opening ever. I don't care if you think Will is a corny rapper or whatever but let the record show that this man is the king of the box office. Think Men In Black, Independence Day, I Robot. This film even beat out the December opening of The Lord of the Rings:Return of the King (which opened with a not too shabby $72.6 mil). It's Big Willy style all over Hollyweird. Congrats to the Fresh Prince!

*I'll be checking this flick out this weekend and will give you my review...

FROM WEASIEYMJ:

I love Oprah, but my vote is my VOTE. She is not going to influence me to vote for Obama. I do like the man, but I feel that he needs more experience. Yes, I want a change, but my change will be a woman and that is Hillary Clinton.

It is a difficult choice but you gotta go with the better candidate, and sometimes thats like choosing between the chair and lethal injection...

guess you gotta pick your poison
