So...i'm taking a look around at things today and notice the very fine detail in which some apply action to their lives. It's in the way they grab things, the way they walk, the way they adjust their attire. It's in the way they point their finger, the way they shuffle papers. It's in the way they use their hands to express emotion or to further convey a thought.

It is in the way they say a name. It's in the way they hold a note when singing, it's in the way they hold their pinky finger out when drinking coffee or tea. It is in the way they prepare the motion of driving their vehicle.

These are nuances. As the definition states, they are subtle unique ways of refinement. In my observance, I noticed the beauty of each action. I viewed the person a little differently -- not in a judgemental or negative way. I viewed their attention to the finest details of life. There is beauty in the fine detail. These actions are the extension of their humanity.

And for having the eyes to see and recognize these subtleties, I am truly grateful.

I too am well aware of the same when it comes to life and that found in life. Some people love to refer to this as 'swag.' Could be, but, like yourself I define it as attention to detail.

Far as singing goes, Jill Scott possess this gift.

"Swag" is definitely an appropriate term and I agree with you about Jill Scott...she is the musical definition of...Chrisette Michele does it for me too!
